We are conscious about our carbon footprint. This is why all KERASILK products have been certified climate neutral by ClimatePartner.
To become climate neutral we measure our carbon emissions, actively reduce them as much as possible and compensate any remaining ones to zero.
Being committed to climate neutrality, we will be continuously reducing our carbon emissions in the future.

FORMULA
Indicating a high amount of natural ingredients (naturally derived and / or biodegradable), a minimal amount of ingredients used in the formula, or that the product has been formulated without certain ingredients (e.g. sulfates or parabens).
CO2 EMISSION
Products featuring that icon decrease the overall CO2 impact on the environment for example via reduced product size & weight.
VEGAN FORMULA
Indicating that a specific product has a vegan formulation, i.e. does not contain any animal derived ingredient / raw material.

WHAT DOES CLIMATE NEUTRALITY MEAN?
Climate neutral = Often also called ‘carbon neutral’, describing the reduction and compensation of carbon emissions to Zero, but scientifically ‘climate neutral’ refers to all greenhouse gases, not only carbon dioxide.
HOW DO WE ACHIEVE CLIMATE NEUTRALITY?
We are achieving climate neutrality for all products by monitoring, reducing and offsetting product related CO2 emissions via equivalent support of a CO2 climate protection project with ClimatePartner.
HOW DO WE REDUCE OUR CO2 EMISSIONS?
We strive to reduce our CO2 emissions by saving valuable energy in our production through an efficient formulation design as well as through product formats that bring an extra reduction of CO2 emissions (e.g. foam application vs aerosol, discontinuation of metallization)
HOW DO WE OFFSET OUR REMAINING CO2 EMISSIONS?
ClimatePartner is the chosen strategic partner of Kao AEMEA for all carbon emission compensation projects at packaging, product, brand or regional level.

WHAT DOES BIODEGRADABILITY STAND FOR?
Biodegradation is the degradation of a product by microorganisms into intermediate materials and simpler substances such as water, carbon dioxide and basic elements. Ingredients that biodegrade very quickly (acc. to OECD guideline) are called biodegradable

Short NOI. Indicates the content of either natural ingredients, naturally derived ingredients or mineral derived ingredients. (According to ISO 16128)
